The hidden face of the Moon seen 360 degrees by the Chinese rover.

After a landmark landing on January 3rd, 2019, the Chang'e 4 Mission Yutu 2 rover took the first panoramic photograph of the far side of the moon, which had never before been explored by ground. The CNSA, the Chinese space agency, unveiled the cliche on Friday, January 11, in cylindrical projection below and azimuthal projection at the bottom of the article.

To reach the Earth, this image, like all data transmitted by the rover, passed through the Queqia relay satellite. Placed at the L2 Lagrange point of the Earth-Moon system, the latter has in its viewfinder both the Earth and the hidden face of the Moon.
