Mogul project.
The Mogul Project is a US ultra-confidential 1947 Cold War project that sent balloon probes to spy on the USSR to determine whether nuclear tests were being conducted by sensing sound waves. induced by them. The project was supervised by James Peoples, assisted by Albert P. Crary.
