As part of the Camelot Project, intended to inform the public about the relationship between our Earth and other planets, a Livermore physicist: Henry Deacon confesses to Bill Ryan and Kerry Cassidy, having been involved in all these issues for many years within US intelligence agencies.
According to him, some "visitors" are indeed humans from our distant future and a major future event could have major consequences for the Earth and its inhabitants.
It is this latter fact that motivates the maintenance of secrecy and makes disclosure so problematic.
