SEOUL, (AFP) - North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has brought together key leaders of the (ruling) Workers' Party before an ultimatum to the United States has expired, the official agency said yesterday. North Korean KCNA.
This plenary session of the party follows intense speculation that Pyongyang may be preparing an intercontinental missile test as a "Christmas present" for Washington.
Kim Jong-un’s regime has made a series of vehement statements in recent weeks and has issued an ultimatum to Washington for the end of the year. In the absence of progress in their discussions on the North Korean nuclear program, Pyongyang promised a "Christmas present".
‘’ Maybe it will be a nice gift, maybe a gift where he sends me a nice vase, rather than a missile test ‘’, American President Donald Trump joked on Tuesday.
