Men in black (Men in black - MIB) and black helicopters.
MIBs sometimes appear to the witnesses of an UFO sighting as extraterrestrial entities, coming from nowhere, then vanishing in the wild.
Sometimes, however, the MIBs seem real and suggest the idea of a staging: they have a bizarre behavior, a steep approach, a strange voice, the face grim, all in order to simulate an extraterrestrial origin. They are all the more frightening to the witnesses and more grotesque to the skeptics who will thus conclude to a fable. They usually travel in a black limousine and evoke agents of the CIA, but their spinning mills are so unobtrusive that they look more like an exhibition.
MIBs ask the witness questions they seem to know already. They seek to intimidate him and threaten him to keep secret what he saw and to destroy all the UFO documents in his possession, even when it is clear that copies of these documents exist elsewhere and that this request is absurd. In reality, the reprisals announced are never put into effect and this ride seems rather to encourage the witness to reveal his strange adventure to those around him. To impress, MIBs can do some magic tricks that are similar to hypnotic suggestion, such as when one of them made disintegrate a coin in the hand of Dr. Herbert Hopkins in 1976.
It has often been suggested that MIBs can not belong to a secret service since they usually appear to the witness before he has been able to report his UFO sighting, citing a dialogue between Jacques Vallée and Allen Hynek. This argument obviously does not hold if it is this same secret service that is at the origin of the UFO observed.
Black helicopters appear to have been observed since 1967 in the United States around UFO sightings. They are Huey UH-1H or Sikorsky "Black Hawk" with fully tinted windows, and they carry no identification mark, identical to those used by the CIA for its secret missions. Their very real presence is attested to date by hundreds of photographs: to say that it is more of an organized show than the implementation of a discreet surveillance (!). The mystery of this presence, which sometimes borders on the harassment of the witness, has never been elucidated. But if we remember that the first animal mutilation also dates from 1967, and that a helicopter was probably used since the mutilated horse was found a hundred meters from his last hoof traces, then we understand better than the authors mutilations seek to accredit the idea that secret service helicopters have only a supervisory role in relation to the UFO phenomenon. Thus, when a helicopter will be seen near a mutilated beast, one will naturally be led to think that it only monitors the actions of the extraterrestrials. Of course, if this helicopter is seen transporting a cow with a sling, as it has apparently already happened, it will be more difficult to accept this view of the facts, but we can always assume that a helicopter of the army was stolen by extraterrestrials!
