(.#385).- The phenomenon poltergeist.
The phenomenon poltergeist.
Poltergeist or "batting minds" are often associated with the UFO phenomenon. These events include several components:
• Strikes and spontaneous movements of objects by telekinesis.
• Bursting of light bulbs, disruption of electrical and electronic appliances, etc.
• Condensation of the ambient humidity in drops of rain inside a house, but also objects igniting spontaneously.
These effects are very likely attributable to the presence of an abnormal electromagnetic field acting on the environment of the witnesses. This field may be of natural or artificial origin or be produced by one of the witnesses who is an "electrical sensitizer".
• Objects that have disappeared or are found in unusual places.
This effect may be attributable to the unconscious behavior of one of the witnesses when he is a victim of temporal epilepsy. This epilepsy can be triggered by the presence of an electromagnetic field to which the subject is particularly sensitive, and it can cause an "automatic" behavior which he will not remember.
• Materialization in our universe of an object that can be preserved afterwards: it would not be a vision. Could it then be the condensation of a shape present in a parallel universe?
The poltergeist seems to be generated by the subject unconsciously and he is often a rebellious teenager, citing the work of Alan Gauld]. The phenomenon poltergeist sometimes has the sense of humor, for example when a cascade of salt materializes over a dish that becomes inedible [LW86 p. 253]. It is clear however that the risk of fraud is very present in this area and that a deception is to be suspected as a priority, especially with regard to the spontaneous movement of objects, their levitation or their supposed materialization.
