It was clear that the warden was talking about details that were unknown to him at the conscious stage.
He basically said that he was abducted and taken to a place where he was interrogated and examined.
Zanfretta: '' I do not want you to go back, I do not want to say anything? Take that thing out of my head ... I'll wait for you to come back ... what a heat ... take that thing off my head ... go away ... you're monsters ... I want to go home ... my torch ''.
Zanfretta then, told that he had been removed, even if my curiosity had been partially paid, I did not want to write an article on this session of hypnosis: the involuntary revelations of this vigil seemed too unreal to be taken in consideration.
Other events
Then in the night of December 27 to 28: "I am surrounded by a thick fog and I see nothing," shouted the watchman on the radio: it was 11:46 pm Four minutes later, Zanfretta called again, but this time his voice was calmer, almost obedient, "my car stops," he said, "I see a great light: now I'm going out."
The search was hampered by the fog and rain that was falling in the area at the time. The '' Fiat '' in which Zanfretta traveled was found after an hour of searching in a recess of the mountain road that leads to the Villa Rossi. The first to see Zanfretta was Brigadier Travenzoli: he was shaking and crying '' they say they want to take me, what will become of my children, I do not want, I do not want ''.
Strangely, despite the rain and the cold, the watchman had his face and his clothes dry, the brigadier noticed that all that was above his nose was very hot, those ears were blood red: surprisingly, the roof of his car was burning as if he had been exposed to strong heat.
Near the car, gigantic footprints of concave soles, more than 50 cm long. were present.
All these elements were then part of the informative report of "the observation of the UFO and humanoids by Zanfretta Fortunato", that Brigadier Nuchi sent to the prefecture of Genoa on January 3, 1979 for taking decisions.
The report ended on the office of the substitute who passed it for the competence to the judge instructor Gian Rodolfo Sciaccaluga: then, it reached Judge Russo, only on January 11, 1980.
After a year, he had it archived with the number 203 for "extreme lack of facts", moreover the same commander of the carabineers had already taken the precaution of informing the Minister of the Interior and the senior commanders military with 2 telexes, one on December 18 and the other on December 28, 1978. In the messages, the degree of reliability of the events described was defined as '' good ''.
After the second close encounter, someone began to think that despite the questions that emerged from these nocturnal events (giant footprints, hot car sheet ...) it would be good to check if Zanfretta was sane? And that is why the Vigilance Institute sent him several times to Professor Giomo Gianotti (specialist in neurology, nervous and mental diseases, senior vice of the Genoa hospital, St. Martino).
On January 31, 1979, Professor Gianotti issued the following certificate: "At the request of the Vigilance Institute's management, on which the watchman depends, I visited on December 28 and 30, 1978, Mr. Zanfretta Fortunato, 26 years old, sworn vigilant profession, to a neuropsychiatric visit as in the 2 previous exams. I found Mr. Zanfretta in perfect psychic and neurological condition, the patient has no psychosensory impairment and his ability to will and criticism is normal. I remember that Mr. Zanfretta is able to do his job unconditionally, he does not need any period of observation or even therapeutic advice. "
The opinion of Professor Gianotti has had a lot of impact with the public and the police.
The case came out of the Genoese limits: Enzo Tortora famous presenter of the TV program '' porto bello '' (program of strong audience) twice invited Zanfretta on the antenna of the RAI 3: by putting in the embarrassment (because of he) Cesare Musatti, father of Italian psychoanalysis.
Musatti, after attending a live hypnosis session in front of the cameras, said that for him Zanfretta was someone of good faith: even though it was difficult to distinguish between objective and subjective reality.
At the same time, the foreign press became interested in the vigil. The popular US newspaper '' National Enquire '' (printed at 5 million copies) dedicated three articles to him on the first page: and it is in this climate that the evening of July 30, 1979, the vigil was the victim of A third abduction, this time he was on his scooter in the area of Quarto (Genoa) because on the mountains, seen the previous events, it was sent no more.
Anyway, that did not stop him from disappearing again: and they found him after two hours of research at the summit of Mount '' Fasce '' located at the '' shoulders '' of Genoa.
One wonders how he was able to get there up, when the only access was patrolled, and that Zanfretta way was not past, the answer was sought in hypnosis.
This time, the session was held at the National Center for Medical and Psychological Hypnosis in Milan where Professor Marco Marchesan, at the request of Zanfretta, had him submit to the '' pental '' (ie -say the truth serum) in response to controversies about the reliability of hypnosis.
Zanfretta not only confirmed everything he had said, but he said that lately he had been lifted by a green light that carried him into an alien ship.
His adventures unfortunately were not over yet: around 10:30 pm, December 2, 1979, he disappeared again while he was aboard an '' Austin mini '', still in the outskirts of Genoa.
On this occasion, four other vigils saw the UFO distinctively: indeed, in a cloud immobile emerged two "lighthouses" which illuminated the men in search of their colleague.
The episode took place on the mountains near Torriglia.

In the next hypnosis session, Zanfretta reported being taken away with his car and carried inside the ship: and speaking with these mysterious interlocutors, at some point he said, '' where did you go? '' And what to do in Spain? Why ? but all together? well, but you terrorize people.
The next day, Tuesday, December 4, 1979, the ANSA International Service transmitted to all the Italian press the following flash: '' Guadalajara (Spain) - a Spanish veterinarian claimed to have been followed by an unidentified flying object while he was driving his car on a road near Guadalajara about fifty kilometers from Madrid.
According to his testimony, Alfredo Sanchez Costa saw in the night of Saturday to Sunday a UFO that followed: then he doubled to position himself above his car.
Blinded by the strong yellow light from the aircraft, Sanchez lost control of his vehicle and got out of the way.
According to the veterinarian, the object moved away from the path of his car when it crossed inhabited places. ''
Confirmation or coincidence? Doubt still persists.
Zanfretta disappeared again on February 14, 1980: this time his car was under surveillance and he was found right away.
He was found at the edge of a ravine half frozen and strongly concussed: a farmer residing in the neighborhood said he saw that night a large luminous mass similar to a rugby ball ... The last disappearance '' official '' Zanfretta dates back to February 13, 1980, but similarly, he was so closely guarded that he failed to meet these "interlocutors". During Dr. Moretti's hypnosis sessions, Zanfretta responded in this way, "ask with negative answer, tixel" and every effort to go further was useless, the vigil was now absolutely out of any hypnotic control.
The prosecutor of Genoa, following his adventures, suspended without any official reason the carrying of arms of Zanfretta: so that he could resume it again, he would have had to hire a lawyer, but Zanfretta was tired anyway, her hair had turned gray after a few months.
On December 10, 1982, Fortunato Zanfretta gave up the Vigilance Institute for a quiet job as a storekeeper: however, after a while, nostalgia for his old job made him return his old uniform of vigilante to the same Institute.
Even today his story remains unexplained.

The adventure of the vigilante Fortunato Zanfretta in Torriglia gave birth to a sci-fi film that is being filmed in the region of Genoa, whose release is scheduled for Italy in October 2004.

This film is based on the still unexplained facts of the "Zanfretta case" classified by the American government in the "X files". In this film, Zanfretta himself will play his first role and will have by his side another "special" actor in the person of Italian astronaut Franco Malerba who participated in the STS 46 mission aboard Space Shutle Atlantis '' July 31, 1992.
He will have the role of a commander and dependent the scientific direction of this film.

1988 - September 11: Graventa (Torriglia). Still a great phosphorescent quadriangular light. The phenomenon was described differently: two witnesses, mother and son, watched a large oval ball light blue appear on Mount Prela: the woman, terrified, asked his son to leave quickly.
1988 - 18 September: 21 hours. Torriglia. Four young people who had arrived at a place where people had often observed an oval light on Mount Prela, report having seen a large luminous disc rise and descend quickly towards them: terrified, they escaped by motorcycle and car and even one running, later recovered by his friends.
