Case, Florida Malboeuf, Jan. 6 1977, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
This very good case is most amazing and yet very little known and exploited in ufology.
In the heart of Montreal, (3 million inhabitants) with scattered witnesses and a radar observation confirmed by air traffic control of an international airport.
MAIN TESTIMONY:
Ms. Florida Malboeuf
Around 1 am on January 6, 1977, Mrs. Malboeuf gets up from her bed and looks out the window. Above the three-storey apartment blocks across Casgrain Street in Montreal, she sees an enormous ovoid shape surrounded by a row of small, changing lights. The silent device disappears, hidden by the roof (sketch dufo1-77).
(sketch dufo1-77).
A few seconds later, two human silhouettes of 2 meters, of normal shape, exactly like us except for the length of their limbs which are longer than ours (sketches dufo2-77), seem to discuss on the edge of the roof. 10 minutes later, everything slowly flies south.
(sketch dufo2-77)
SECONDARY TESTIMONY:
+ Witnesses at a bus stop.
Paul Dubeau, Sky Steward at Dorval Airport (Montreal International Airport)
Three telephones were received at the Dorval control tower sent by other witnesses near Rosemont metro station (populated urban area). Mr. Dubeau claims to have seen the enigmatic "DOT" on his radar screen for a few moments.
A report was immediately sent to the two Canadian and US staffs of North American Air Defense Command (NORAD) North Bay in Canada and Colorado Springs, USA.
ADDITIONAL TESTIMONY:
André Malboeuf, (26 years old) son of Mme Malboeuf
(on the marked slide: other witness)
André Malboeuf climbed onto the roof of the apartment block to discover an ice circle 7 meters in diameter. Footprints, in the hardened snow, abnormally small to be those of the great characters, who started from the circle and went to the edge of the roof, were very obvious.
A footprint on a piece of ice (see Slide) was kept for a long time by Marc Leduc, director of UFO Quebec at the time, in his freezer, but unfortunately dehydrated. A weak mauve hue was visible on these footprints. Small ripples were visible on the whole surface of the step.
UFOLOGICAL REPORT:
- The roof was inaccessible except with a ladder (No child could climb there).
- The top dwelling was unoccupied.
- Before, during and after the days of observation, the temperature had always remained below -5 C0.
- The testimony of Ms. Malboeuf seems very credible. Her attitude demonstrates that she experienced this event as a "shock" in her life.
- Her son confirms that even after several years she never gave up until her death in 1984.
DRAWINGS & SKETCHES:
Approved by the witness.
