(.#581).- In 2069, we will know for sure if ET’s live on Alpha Centauri. In 2069 We Will Know For Sure If Alpha Centauri Has Extraterrestrial Beings. June 9, 2020 Recently NASA reported that they’re planning an expedition to Alpha Centauri, the closest star system to our own which is scheduled for 2069. The reason behind this date seems to be the fact that it’s a centennial anniversary (1969 - 2069) of the Apollo 11 moon landing, but it could also be meant as a way to buy more time so we could advance our technology by then and find a way to cross the systems in this lifetime. According to representative John Culberson of Texas’s directive, they are planning on making a spacecraft that is able to travel at 10 percent of the speed of light which would cut down the time needed to reach Alpha Centauri from 78,000 years to a mere 44 years. The reason as to why we even want to visit Alpha Centauri is because it is the closest star system which may hold extraterrestrial life forms in it. A mission to it is about 13,000 times longer than the distance from the Earth to the sun, but doing so we’d most likely head towards the Proxima Centauri which is the closest one in that system. Although the planets are closer to one another than they are in our own system which implies that water is nonexistent in these places, it should be stated that one certain little planet could definitely hold life in it as we know it, which is most likely where we’re headed after all. Regardless, we’ll know more by 2069 that’s for sure. F I N .
