Missing time, supposed kidnappings by Aliens.
MISSING TIME
Missing time. It is a subject of debate of the phenomenon, between ufologists all over the world, within the framework of the famous close meetings with UFO and kidnappings committed by extraterrestrial biological entities. The term "time missing ”refers to a person's memory gap, within a specified period of time, from a few minutes to several days past.
DESCRIPTION OF MISSING TIME
According to the assertions of some ufologists, some people remember having experienced a strange situation (for example: Close presence of a UFO.) At one point; later, looking at the clock or their watch, were unable to remember what they have done in the past time.
Through regressive hypnosis sessions, these people who said they had temporal gaps were now able to recover most of the memories that had become inaccessible. [1]
Several ufologists, researchers and psychologists in favor of
extraterrestrial abductions, maintain that the testimonies of these people from all over the world who, among them do not know and who have no knowledge of the subject, have many similarities, which confirm statistically that the missing time is a real phenomenon . [2]
A person can be described first, in any place, or means of transport: The missing time is reached when the hypothetical kidnapped is in the same place of origin, but later in time, without remembering of what happened in this "past time".
In practice, the subject remembers the beginning and the end of the episode, but he has an "amnesia" with regard to the central part of it. It can also happen that the person sees a UFO in one place, then another place, not only noticing the time spent, but also how it came to this place; this phenomenon linked to the missing time, it is called `` jump location '' (Place jump) . [3]
Some ufologists still indicate that the experience of missing time does not necessarily mean that a person has been abducted by an extraterrestrial life form, but may be a clue to those who have reason to believe that they have been abducted. [ 4]
UFO THEORIES
The theories developed by ufologists to explain the phenomenon are multiple. The simplest argues that the Aliens would be able to suppress the conscious memory of the abduction, but not of the unconscious, so that memory can emerge with hypnosis; There is some question, however, why such an advanced alien race is unable to completely suppress memory. [5]
Others believe that, the same would be subject to unconsciously eliminating this traumatic experience. [6] According to other ufologists, the missing time is rather the first phase in the execution of an abduction committed by foreign entities: the extraterrestrial technology is so advanced that they can act on continuous space-time and deliberately lock it "to remove it from the person's conscious memory". The theory of the block of time is however not scientifically demonstrated. [7]
SCIENTIFIC CAUSES
The science associated with this phenomenon: Type of mental psychotic problems, such as "self-abduction", traumatic memory (Real or imaginary) that the psyche can cause. "He cannot bear"; In addition, some hallucinogens such as LSD, psylocybin (magic mushrooms), mescaline and others, where the subject can imagine anything arbitrarily, as in the case of an alien abduction. The similarities in the stories of the witnesses would depend on the common structure of the human state of mind.
The feeling of missing time can also be connected to the phenomenon of dissociation, it can also occur in everyday life when the brain is busy performing repetitive and monotonous tasks; for example, when driving on the highway, you may have a drop in conscious attention, which we don't realize they have passed a junction [8].
