Already people have trouble believing that it is possible that they visit us. You discredit even more the phenomenon in my opinion.
I do not think we can say today their real intentions. We can be sure they are not from here.
I do not think it is good to believe that they protect us from ourselves (from an ecological point of view etc ...).
I would be in their place I would simply study the Earth and their inhabitants for more personal knowledge. But I would avoid a maximum of getting involved in the lives of their inhabitants. This is exactly what seems to happen in everything we observe.

To tell you the truth, I prefer a person like you who keeps your feet on Earth, to a person who seeks through the UFO phenomenon an answer to his anxieties.
That said, you only make obvious things of the UFO phenomenon without bothering to think about it.

For me and others, the UFO phenomenon operates according to a well-established policy of discretion to study us.

The goals of this study are problematic because of course there are always goals.

The Occam razor makes it necessary to take into account all possible hypotheses.

It is therefore the simplest hypothesis that wins the prize, provided that it reports the UFO event from all angles.

As for the mythical IQ of our visitors who would make Einstein go for a stay, again you have to know how to put the soft pedal.
That they are incomparably superior to us in terms of technology is obvious.
