Is it possible to build a city on the Moon ?
NASA and Ross Cosmos made parallel announcements about cooperation build the new lunar Orbiting Space Station very recently.
NASA is working with its partners to build a new space station and everyone is excited about the presence of the Russian space. The agency participated in the party on October 19, 2017.
Scientists reviewing some data from the former Japanese kaguya lunar satellite which crashed onto the moon in 2009 revealed a 50 meter hole in a formation called the Mariusz hills.
Further study by radio waves has revealed that this is infect a lava tube formed about 3.5 billion years ago its 50 kilometres or 30 miles long and would likely make a great settlement for early explorers involved in building a more sophisticated City since the moon has only a trace of atmosphere, it provides no protection from radiation or meteorites and underground larva Tuba would keep the inhabitants safe from such dangerous lava tubes who are formed when molten Rock pours through fissures creating a circular tunnel, when the Lava flow stops the tubes drain living a flat floor and a strong arched roof such to exist here on earth but on the Moon they are much larger they are likely a kilometre tall and wide so combined with their length could easily fit any of the earth's largest cities including all of its tallest buildings.
Scientists, researchers construction crews and everyday citizens would be safe from the hazards of space in there for a number of years stories have been circulating about building a dome over the creator named Shackleton it's 40 kilometres or 25 miles across and at the centre it would be 1500 metres tall the enclosed surface would provide un crowded living area for almost unlimited numbers of people the glass roof made from lunar silica would be supported by Titanium and Aluminium frames but narrow enough to be almost invisible from inside on the ground even though several metres thick in multiple layers to control thermal expansion and contraction in It Would Still Be transparent if a meteor did happen to strike the Dome it might take up 1 to 4 panels based on the largest meteor predicted and whether it struck a single panel or a Junction between four of the hexagon shaped panels the air leakage would be very slow because when you have about 40 cubic kilometres of air and a tiny hole it would be hours before the pressure change was noticeable it could be days before there was significant.
Can you breathe on the moon?
What it would be like to live on the moon?
Why should we live on the moon?
Can we live on the moon?
Living on the moon in 2020?
How long can you live on the moon?
Colonizing the moon?
Is there water on the moon?
Can we live on the moon?
The moon has some surface water, as well as interior water, but we would probably have to live near the poles to access it. Can the moon support life?
Therefore, some scientists speculate that large extrasolar planets (and double planets) may have similarly large moons that are potentially habitable. A moon with sufficient mass may support an atmosphere like Titan and may also sustain liquid water on the surface.
Is there oxygen on the moon?
Earth's upper atmosphere and the moon have relatively little oxygen-16, where as the solar wind has more. The lunar soil's oxygen content has three components: One is rich in oxygen-16, and that is from the solar wind moon phases, the moon, man on the moon, aliens on the moon, about moon, moon and sun, the moon, moon landing, moon live, moon pictures, Discovery,
