This new image is the result of an HD photo processing of the columns of interstellar dust taken in 1995. It was published on the NASA website on Monday. Nasa.
The photo of the interstellar dust columns taken in 1995 was modernized twenty years later and published by NASA on its website.
A new photo of the Pillars of Creation was posted on the NASA website on Monday. The image was obtained via HD processing of the original photo, taken by the Hubble telescope in 1995. In the new image, published on the occasion of twenty years of the first photo and twenty-five years of the telescope, the Oxygen is blue, sulfur is orange, and hydrogen and nitrogen are green.
The original photo was taken by Jeff Hester and Paul Scowen of the University of Arizona, who had assembled 32 images taken by 4 different cameras to achieve this result. The Pillars of Creation are a part of the Eagle Nebula, a vast area of young stars in the tail of the snake constellation, 6500 light years from Earth. What send Internet users in the stars.
