A family sees a flying saucer, the father discusses with the passenger.
The report was published in the Green Bay, Wisconsin newspaper "Press-Gazette" on June 26, 1959 on the Family Section page.
Somewhere along the shore of Lake Huron, I found a story that I could not reject. I made a stop with my canoe and walked across the field to a petrol station. The resort owner invited me for a cup of coffee at his nearby house where I met his 12-year-old son and his pretty wife.
After a general discussion of our experiences, he asked me if I had ever seen unidentified flying objects. I made a big smile. "Go! it's not so much fun. You see this island there? "(He pointed to a small island beyond the bank)," it is a frequent landing place for a flying saucer. " He looked serious, his attitude and words were sensible. I asked him more. I must admit that at this point I was skeptical, but my informant had all the signs of a man of good sense and correct judgment. "Yes, I went to the island to see the flying saucers land and take off. I have seen them many times, my wife and my son too. " I turned to look at them and both of them "confirmed" me with a nod. "Have you seen the creatures in flying saucers? I asked. " Yes of course. I know one of them. They look like you and me. They can speak English perfectly despite some kind of singing accent. They are tall and really strong, they live hundreds of years. " Where do they come from ? I asked. "These are from Venus," he said. "They have friends on Earth, like me, and they visit us. Those who can believe have been selected by a process that only they know. Skeptics are not retained. They want to spread peace. They are vitally interested in our goals and attempts at interplanetary travel, since everything happening on our planet affects other planets.
He added that about 25 Venusians were aboard the saucer and he saw them many times. His wife and son solemnly declared that they had seen them too.
