"Some thought it could be" the devil's child "so much was his ugliness"
Here is the story of the description of "Aliens" and their capture, extracted from various sites (see the list of sites at the bottom of the article)
(...) In 1996 several people witnessed the violent crash of a UFO near the city of Varginha, Brazil. The municipal firefighters, and then the army, intervene and intervene. In the following days, other people meet non-terrestrial beings trying to hide or flee to the four corners of the city. The army, then plainclothes agents engage in a real hunt, capturing or even killing these beings, some of whom are obviously injured. One of them is autopsied at the hospital of the city, then taken to other places.
The events make a splash and are reported by Mexican television, then go around the world. In May 1997, a scientist accused of having participated in the autopsy of the deceased aliens declares that he will be able to speak on the subject only in a few years. In June 1997, 15 witnesses agreed to speak and confirmed the involvement of the Brazilian army in the capture of aliens. Another witness reports that he has been offered money to keep quiet. (...)
Testimonials
(...) The girls' speech to ufologist Ubirijara Franco Rodrigues is unambiguous: they are convinced that they have met the devil himself; the "creature" wore three bumps on the forehead and looked like a demon. Terrified, they immediately took their legs close to their neck and crossed the park to take refuge in the mother of two of them. Meanwhile, alerted by residents of the neighborhood, panicked by the appearance, firefighters and military arrived on site. The capture will be less discreet than that of the morning: it is under the eyes of a small crowd gathered in the street that the creature, which seems as badly in point, will be caged, then disappear, loaded in a truck of the army. (...)
(..) It was neither animal nor human, it was a horrible thing, says Katia. (...)
(...) "He was brown, his eyes were red, his skin was shiny, like ... - it seemed like an oil, and he had three horns." (...)
(...) The rest was the same description: the brown skin, shiny and oily, a rounded face, red eyes, and no cheeks, no beard, no mustache or nose, and where we have our lips there was only one cutout.
(Vincent) Different drawings have been made according to the testimonies, they all agree, here is one opposite.
(...) When firefighters arrived on the scene, there were several adults and several children present who saw the scene of the capture. Children throwing stones at the creature. Soldiers were already there. The Firemen capture the creature with a lasso. They wore gloves and were afraid of possible radiation. The creature made no gesture and let itself be caught without resistance. She made a noise like the "BZZZZZ ..." of a bee. (...)
Three girls, Katia Andrade Xavier, Liliane Fatima da Silva and Valquiria Aparecida da Silva, returning home on foot, three blocks from where the Firemen captured the first being, saw a creature leaning against a wall. They were very scared. The creature was brown in color, had oily skin, a bald head with three horns, big red globular eyes, two arms and two legs. The creature was prostrate along the wall, with arms between the legs.
When she made a slight head movement, the three girls ran to their homes, crying in fear, and told the story to the mother of two of the girls. The group S2 (Brazilian special unit) captured the creature (the fourth therefore), and took him to the Regional Hospital. When the mother of the girls arrived on the scene there was nothing, just a weird smell in the air. Several days later, men in costumes came to the girls and offered them a large sum of money in exchange for their silence. They refused. (...)
This case made one dead
(Vincent) A young soldier, who had unprotected a creature during capture, died a month later of an unknown disease, generalized infection style.
(...) Less than a month after the incident, the 23-year-old military policeman Marco Eli Chereze succumbed to a multiple infection with no apparent cause. "He must have been infected when he touched the creature", (...)
Special agents from the United States arrived quickly and carried away the creatures.

THE MEETING OF VARGINHA
Extract from the site: www.lionelherbert.fr/ovni--trois-affaires-bresiliennes
On the night of 19-20 January 1996, at 0:00, NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) warned CINDACTA, its Brazilian counterpart, that an unidentified object was spotted from Colorado, and descended in a straight line to Brazil, the state of Gerais more particularly. Brazilian air base VI COMAR, put on alert, takes off aircraft; As part of the alliance, an American base adjoins it, US Air Force aircraft also take the air.
In fact, hundreds of witnesses see UFOs flying over the city of Varginha, a mining town of 130,000 inhabitants in this state of southwestern Brazil. Many film them or photographs. One of the amateur movies shows one of the objects in trouble. First as a white luminous ball, it soon appears in the form of a "cigar" that descends with erratic movements.
In a farm located between Varginha and Tres Coracoes, Augusta and Enrique Rodrigues are awoken about an hour by the cries of their cows and their sheep, which seem panicked. Outgoing, they see an object in the shape of a submarine, the size of a minibus, which goes down to 5 meters of the ground. It is shredded and loses elements that fall to the ground, and seems to "shake" by producing smoke or steam. The couple warns the military police who disembark and establishes a security perimeter. The inhabitants of the hamlet attend a helicopter ballet and a round trip of military vehicles. US special forces, the Green Berets, are also present, while their nearest base is in Panama.
Three witnesses see the Army pick up the object, loaded onto a truck, and carefully pick up the least debris. They are John Carpenter, an American tourist, Carlos De Souza, a contractor in a van, and Enrique Rodrigues. All were driven back from the area by the military in different locations, and all observe the hidden events. Carpenter has the same description as the farmer: a kind of quivering submarine, which makes smoke. A crane is used to load it, and soldiers use metal detectors to find every bit of twisted and apparently light metal.
The next day at 8 o'clock a man anonymously calls the Varginha firefighters: a weird animal is in the Andere public garden. Firefighters do not seem very motivated by this presence: they arrive at 10 o'clock. Two people, 20-year-old student Hildo Lucio Galvino and a roofer, Henrique José, from a roof, see the same thing. The firefighters capture at net a creature about 1 meter, with oily skin, red eyes, with three bumps on the forehead, a small mouth, hands with three fingers. Emitting a smell of ammonia, squatting and emitting a buzz of bees, the creature seems passive. Soldiers arrive, and take care of her. It will be known that she is taken to the Tres Coracoes NCO school by order of General Sergio Coelho Lima.
At 2 o'clock another witness saw soldiers in battle dress entering a wood; he thinks of exercise. Then he hears gunshots, and sees them coming out carrying bags. The group consists of Colonel Olimpio Wanderley, Captain Ramires, Lieutenant Tiberio, Major Maciel, Sergeant Pedrosa of the Secret Service, Corporal Civilo, Corporal Chereze, Soldiers Vassalo and Mello. They are military police.
At 3.30 pm the authorities are alerted by a woman; his daughters and a friend surprised "the devil": a creature similar to that seen in the Andere garden. They come back from a move, and go through a fallow lot to join their neighborhood, Santana. snuggled
The creature that the three girls would have seen
against a wall, she seems in trouble. The girls - Katya Xavier, 22, Liliane Silva, 16, Valquiria Silva, 14 - fled to her sight. The firemen, on the orders of a sergeant, are corporal Rubens, the 2nd classes Santos and Nivaldo. They capture the creature, under the eyes of several witnesses.
According to the private investigation carried out, the creature is taken to the Humanitas hospital, and dies on Monday the 22 at 18 h 15. One of the people present on the spot, the doctor Adalberto Magalhes, would have declared that in front of his respiratory difficulties one would have administered oxygen, which would have been fatal. But the practitioner will deny having made such comments. The body is then transported to Campinas, 320 km away, where Professor Badan Palhares and Dr. Coradin Nesve autopsied him in the presence of firefighters and soldiers. It shows a retractable black tongue, oily skin, and no visible sex organs. Professor Palhares, interviewed a few months later, will say: "I can not say anything about this affair; in a few years I will speak. " Two days later, an American aircraft, -C-5 or C-17, would have loaded the remains of the creature on the airport. The rumor speaks of an "alien" dead, two wounded one of whom will die, and five alive.
UFO witnesses, or so-called, have often been criticized for being too imaginative. We can return this compliment to the authorities in this case. When Mexican television reports the case, firefighter Rubens will say that his services were only routine activities that day. As for the Army, it will declare that it has led to the hospital only a dwarf about to give birth (!), According to Lieutenant Calza. Then Lieutenant / Colonel Finholdt Pereira will explain that the misunderstanding of the three girls: they discovered a disabled named Luizinho (little Louis), with dirty clothes!
These three witnesses were interviewed by lawyer Ubijara Rodrigues, and two Americans, a doctor, Roger Leir, and a psychiatrist, John Marck. They will describe the creature, "neither man nor animal," "to the limbs like rubber," who turned their heads towards them, showing big red eyes that terrorized them. The mother of the youngest, alerted by her daughters, goes on the spot, but will find nothing, except strange traces that a shower of hail will make disappear. She will call the authorities.
This case will never be clarified for one major reason: witnesses, military or firefighters militarized, will never testify, or on condition of anonymity, which makes their remarks unverifiable or of little interest. However, we can see that no explanation has ever been given as to the fall of an object seen and filmed. As for the mysterious creatures, only five witnesses -Galvino, José, and the three girls-have agreed to make themselves known. Their testimonies are however concordant. Several private investigators have tried to establish the facts: the lawyer Ubijara Rodrigues, and two American doctors, Roger Leir and the psychiatrist John Marck. They were able to get details from the three girls about the creature, "limbs like rubber," the big head that, when he turned to her, showed those red eyes that freaked them out. The mother of the two youngest returned to the indicated place, there was nothing left.
But among the military police, Marco Eli Chereze, 23, died on February 15 at 11 am at Do Sul Hospital in Minas, an unknown infection. He was the only one to touch the creature with his bare hands. Dr. Caesar Lincoln Furtado, who tried to treat her, will call this death "strange, and without rational explanation". But the autopsy of Chereze will remain confidential, even for the police. His hierarchy will go so far as to claim that he was not in service on January 20, despite fifteen testimonies to the contrary, including those of the family of the deceased.
On April 29, Mrs. Therezinha Clepf, 67, sees from the terrace of the restaurant Paiquerê, overlooking the Andere garden, a creature resembling that of January, except that she would wear a golden helmet; she calls her husband, but the mysterious being is no longer there. A few days later, two fallow deer, a carp, an ocelot, a monkey, die drunk for no apparent reason in the garden zoo. The veterinary chief, Leila Cabral, can not explain anything. But is there a relationship between these last two events; and is the vision credible? It is hard to believe that a creature from the cosmos would have hidden for 3 months without being spotted, to disappear then without leaving a trace. It should be noted however that in the same region of Brazil an UFO appeared on August 22 in front of twenty witnesses, including police, and on September 18 another flies over a building. In both cases the thing will be filmed.

From a forum
Here is a report on one of the most incredible UFO crash cases that took place just outside the Brazilian city of Varginha, in April 1997. With the help of the Brazilian army and then the United States, aliens the most wounded were hunted down in the city in front of witnesses and some were shot dead. Despite the blackout on these events, despite the threats on witnesses and investigators, their story went around the world.
In April 1996, several people witnessed the violent crash of a UFO near the city of Varginha, Brazil.
The Varginha case is unique in many ways. It is first and foremost an extraordinary opportunity for many researchers to have been able to work on a current and solid case. Ufologists like Stanton T. Friedman and John Carpenter, who for many are somehow the elite of the discipline. But also for Mexican researchers like Ubirajara Franco Rodrigues and Vitorio Pacaccini who were the first to investigate and made history known. Researchers such as Stanton T. Friedman, who has become an expert in the legendary Roswell case, know how the secret machine works, which is essential in this case and for research into the fate of dead and living aliens who would have were transported to the Albrook base in Panama.
"15 witnesses confirm the involvement of the deceased military policeman in the case," said ufologist Ubirajara Rodrigues.
YES, WE HAVE "AND"
Reports of a third type encounter in Varginha, the Brazilian Roswell. Luiza Villamea, from Varginha (MG)
The city of Varginha, in the southern state of Minas Gerais, is the national [Brazilian] version of Roswell. With 120,000 inhabitants, Varginha has become the Brazilian capital of ufology since the stories of the observation of a strange creature by three girls have crossed its mountains and won the world.
The close encounter of the third most extraordinary type ever reported in Brazil has gained notoriety once associated with other testimonies and even mysterious deaths.
Less than a month after the incident, 23-year-old military policeman Marco Eli Chereze succumbed to a multiple infection with no apparent cause. "He must have been infected when he touched the creature," assumes his older sister, Marta. Member of the P-2, the military police intelligence service, Chereze is appointed by ufologists who study the case as a victim of a complex military police operation that resulted in the capture of two extraterrestrials.
All the institutions mentioned by the ufologists deny the case. According to information published by the Military Police, Chereze was not even in service on January 20, 1996. The police officer's mother, Lourdes, disputes this assertion. She says she remembers that Saturday - a day that was sunny at first and had an astonishing change in the weather at sunset, with hailstones breaking even the tiles of the houses. Lourdes indicates that Chereze worked in civilian clothing and was employed to drive a Fiat white car ("Premio" model) that was windowless driver side, for the Military Police. "My son went home at around 6:00 pm, with his wet shirt," she recalls. "He changed his clothes and asked me to tell his wife that he would not be going home for dinner because he was on a mission."
Involved in investigations around Varginha ETs since the day after the meeting reported by the three girls, lawyer Ubirajara Franco Rodrigues, ufologist for more than 20 years, certifies that the participation of Chereze in the episode is confirmed by QUINZE TESTIMONIALS REGISTERED IN VIDEO. They are eight military witnesses and seven civilians, whose identities are kept secret, for security reasons. "The case of Varginha is not over," says Rodrigues. "It is likely that light will only be made in a few decades."
Among the many questions raised by ufologists, there are the death of five animals from the city's zoo: two deer, a blue macao, a jaguar and a tapir. For no apparent reason, they died at the same time knowing that Terezinha Galo Clepf, 67, housewife claims to have seen another stranger at the zoo in April 1996. The place, moreover, will host a concrete statue of the Alien
Due to such episodes, more than 80 ufologists have already been surveyed in the region. One of them, the Spanish author J.J. Benitez, author of the series "Operation Trojan Horse" has even announced the discovery of the landing marks of a spaceship. "This is completely false," says engineer Claudeir Covo, the president of INFA - the national institute for research on aerospace phenomena. "The alleged marks are nothing more than two holes made by an anteater," agrees Rodrigues.
Currently, these two ufologists analyze the testimony of the small businessman Carlos de Souza, a resident of the city of Sao Paulo, who recently presented himself as a witness to the recovery of an unidentified object by the army, while traveling near the city [of Varginha]. "When they saw me, they forced me to leave," said Souza.
Dr. Palhares says in a press conference that he will be able to speak freely about the subject in a few years. Better: the first indications of the existence of other underground secret laboratories in connection with UFOs appear. This news was broadcast by ufologists Claudeir Covo and Ubirajara Franco Rodrigues.
RESTRICTED ACCESS LABORATORIES
So far, we suspect the existence of four limited access areas, military use laboratories, two of which are located in UNICAMP [University of Campinas in the State of Sao Paulo, Brazil] and two in CTA ( technical center of the Brazilian Air Force). All are underground laboratories. Only a few civilians are allowed to enter these labs, only those with the appropriate permissions.
CTA's two laboratories are on Tamoios Road, one at kilometer 6 and one at kilometer 12, which may have received the strange metals recovered during the spacecraft accident.
The UNICAMP laboratories are located one at the Institute of Biology, and the other at Das Clinicas Hospital. According to witnesses, who do not want to identify with the press, these laboratories received the bodies of strange creatures captured in Varginha.
One witness testified that an important person in the field of research took him to the Restricted Access Laboratory under the Institute of Biology at UNICAMP. The witness described the laboratory as hexagonal and having metal walls.
An employee who works with Dr. Badan Palhares [translator's note: the scientist who was accused of having autopsied the creatures] one of the bodies arrived at Das Clinicas Hospital in a metal box with holes, carried by two military. They went to a hall with a hallway with many doors. The woman and the two soldiers were forbidden to pass one of these doors. They were asked to put the box down and walk away. The box was then removed to an underground level by other soldiers who were already there.
- Another person, a friend of Dr. Palhares, informed that Dr. Palhares would have said:
"When the doors open, I would like to see who can stand face to face with this creature even for a minute ... ... referring to the creature alive, and has its horrible appearance and its smell strongly ammonia.’’
- Now at the end of the year [N.d.T .: 1996], Dr. Palhares spoke as a lecturer at the Judicial College of Campinas. At the end of his interview, a student asked him if it was true that he had autopsied the creatures captured in Varginha, to which he replied :
"If you ask me this question in a few years, maybe I'll have more freedom to answer you."
- An employee of the Amarais cemetery in Campinas informed that one of the bodies of the strange creatures remained stored and heavily guarded by the military, from February to April 1996, in one of the freezers of the IML [translator's note : Institute of Forensic Medicine] located in an annex building of this cemetery.
- Another curious fact is that after we started to disclose the existence of an underground laboratory and restricted access to the hospital Das Clinicas in UNICAMP, quickly all the heliographic copies with the schematics of the projects of structures of this hospital were removed. Very strange...
Firefighters deny their involvement in ET capture :
The statements of Vitorio Pacaccini and Ubirajara Rodrigues, saying that the fire soldiers captured ETs in Varginha were denied by the words of Pedro Alvarenga, the commander of the fire brigade, who said that his corporation was not called to deal with local occurrences on January 20, 1996. The commander claimed that because they operate in the public sector, they would not be able to hide it from the press or ufologists. He also said that ufologists are trying to implicate the fire department, the military police and the army in fact. He said that "it would be impossible to hide the thing. The emotional aspect of the men involved would change, because it is not a usual catch, and there has been no such change".
However, Ubirajara and Pacaccini assure that they have military witnesses who confirm the participation of the fire fighters attending an event at around 10:30 am that day at Jardim Andere. According to witnesses, firefighters arrived at the scene with four soldiers with a fire pump. They found a strange creature there and the army watched the entire operation closely.
The commander said: "Saturday, I was not a quarter, the firefighters were involved casually, I do not know, but I think there is no truth in all this". Captain Alvarenga said that the witnesses are not military at all, because "if they were, they would speak to the press, even the people would ask for more facts and evidence that all of this really happened" . But, according to the ufologists, if the witnesses indicate their names, they risk their place that would harm their existence. In addition, Ubirajara and Pacaccini identified the qualifications of the witnesses.
The press tried to take pictures and get interviews, but the firefighters resisted. The commander tried to justify it, blaming Rede Globo [Globo TV network], because they did a report on the subject. According to Captain Alvarenga, the fire department did not want to expose themselves, in order to avoid complications with the media. "Things got complicated because ordinary people were talking about this creature, there had been a corpse exhumation in the city, and the victim's family thinks that the police themselves have killed the boy."
However, according to a fax received on May 24 from the Institute of Forensic Medicine, which is subordinate to the Secretary of State of Minas Gerais for Public Security, the body was identified as belonging to José Maria Misael Filho, 23 years and was exhumed in the institute, which in fact is located on the premises of the regional hospital. It is written in the official report that the autopsy was done on January 30, in other words, more than a week after the witnesses claimed to have seen the movements in the hospital.
Alvarenga denied the fire department's involvement in transporting this corpse and said that "the Tres Coracoes fire fighters unit is closer to the army, so it may have been called for some cooperation with the ESA or to transport the victim ".
CONTRADICTIONS - we told the commander that what he was telling us was strange and contradictory, because before this interview we had contacted Adilson Usier, the director of the regional hospital, who said that Varginha fire [and not Tres Coracoes] participated in the transport of the corpse. Captain Alvarenga then said that it was a mistake made by Mr. Usier.
According to the commander, "the ufologists involved in the search for this case, Ubirajara and Pacaccini, imagine everything and use the situation, trying to put their names in the media" Pacaccini defends himself: "I am a very respected person, both in my profession than in my private life, I never needed ufology research to promote myself ". We can say the same of Ubirajara.
A witness is offered money to deny the story :
A.J.Gevaerd, Editor: Ms. Luisa Helena da Silva is the mother of Liliane and Valquiria. On April 29, 1996, at around 10 pm, four well-dressed men went to her house to bribe her, with money and merchandise, if their daughters deny the whole story, returning to their account. previous rendering. [...]
Luisa Helena da Silva : "I do not know who these people are who tried to bribe me, because I had never seen them before and I do not know them, but I know that one Monday there are about two weeks, they came here at 10 pm I do not know why they came in the evening, I think it was so that nobody could identify them in the street, I do not usually have visits to that There were four men, all in dark sneakers and suits, two of them apparently in their 40s and the others were younger, two of them were white and two were brown. white, he looked like a Russian, they did not look like soldiers, I thought at that moment it might be police people, but I do not think so anymore. It is certain that these men are not of Varginha, but two of them had the accent of the region of South Minas. "
THE ATTEMPT OF CORRUPTION FAILS
There were only me and three of my girls at home: Liliane, Valquíria and Fernanda, the youngest, who was already sleeping. They clapped their hands in front of the door. Valquíria went to see me and told me that there were four men outside. While I was in my bedroom changing my clothes, they came into my house, did not wait to see if they were invited or not, they came in and came in, invading my house. They said my name, as if they already knew me, they said they wanted to "chat" with me and with the girls about the ET they saw. They said this was the only time they could be here and asked me to lock the door because it was a private interview and I could not receive any visits. I was scared but, anyway, Valquíria went to lock the door.
I asked if Ubirajara sent them here. One of them said they have nothing to do with Ubirajara and I should forget about it. After they heard the girls, I asked them who they were, they told me it was not my business. They asked my daughters what they were dreaming about, what my job was, how much my salary was, where my husband worked and if the house was mine. They wanted to know what was my main concern and if the girls were working.
If I gave my word that I would not say anything about their visit - especially to Ubirajara and Pacaccini - they would make me an excellent proposal. They said they were "the gold mine" that we never thought we had. "They said they know I'm poor." They made me a proposal, said it was irresistible, they did not want to buy me, but that help was millionaire.
I now have no peace, because after the interview I gave to "Fantástico", I do not know what can happen. As I was afraid, I gave them my word. They said they wanted me to come with my daughters, and no one else, to speak at a TV station, not at this small local station, but at a larger station outside Varginha. If I denied everything, if I said that my daughters never saw anything, and some other things I should repeat with them, they said they would pay in cash.
I was so surprised that I did not ask how much they offered. They only said that I could buy a house, pay off my debts and stop working as a maid. I became very nervous and worried ... I asked if there was not a phone number that I could call another day to give the answer. I said that I had to think. They did not accept and said they would come back.
After we appeared in "Fantástico", talking about the bribery attempt, I'm sure they'll come back. Pacaccini knows my [situation] life and if someone appears with help, naturally I would be grateful. But I would not let my daughters lie, especially when it comes to this very serious matter. Even as poor, they will NOT lie. They speak with the truth of the heart, there are a lot of people involved.
For now, I'm still doing the same job, but I've heard a conversation saying it's only for this month, because there are too many people calling me to work. I do not know if they have discovered the number, it seems that there is a person who is watching us, it causes too much trouble. I work and then people start calling asking to talk to me. To be honest, my life turned into hell after everything that happened. "
One of the doctors who treated the deceased policeman after capture and contact with Varginha ET makes new revelations :
Dr. Furtado: The policeman Marco Eli Chereze was first admitted to the "Prontomed" department of the Regional Hospital by my colleague Armando Martins Pinto (cardiologist) on February 12, 1996. He entered because severe pain in the lumbar region. Dr. Armando directed him to Bom Pastor Hospital, where he was quickly taken in charge by Dr. René, general practitioner and cardiologist, head of the department of cardiology, who ordered some examinations. I was then involved, being at that time the supervisor (sort of coordinator) of cardiology at Bom Pastor.
Dr. Furtado further explains during the interview that he worked in both hospitals. However, during this month of January 1996, he had not worked at the Regional Hospital. He went every morning to Bom Pastor. He does not know exactly why Chereze was transferred to Bom Pastor: perhaps for lack of space in the Regional, or more likely because he would be covered by military medical insurance.
Dr. Furtado: The next day, at Bom Pastor Hospital, we requested tests because Chereze was still suffering from the lumbar region. We requested urinalysis, column, lumbar and sacral radios, in addition to an orthopedic analysis, because the pain was intense and we suspected the presence of a hernia disc. Dr. Rogério Ramos took care of the orthopedic part of the patient's condition. He told us that there was no alteration and that the problem did not come from there. He also told us that we had to continue our research on the cause of pain and that of the fever that began to appear that same day.
The blood tests that arrived in the afternoon showed a blood count with leucocytosis, a left deviation and toxic granulations in the neutrophils. This was a sign of an important infection, highly capable of causing poisoning (toxemia) - because there were these toxic granulations. We then administered two antibiotics: penicillin and gentamicin, because we thought it might be pneumonia, because of the location of the pain, or even a urinary infection. We therefore administered antibiotics that could respond to both possibilities.
His case was evaluated again on February 13th: same state. The next day, February 14, he spent the day with fever and pain, but at an acceptable stage. That was until the morning of the 15th when he woke up with fatigue, numbness and signs of cyanosis (bluish skin color due to lack of oxygen). These symptoms tended to confirm general blood-borne poisoning with possible septicemia. He was immediately transferred to the CTI (Intensive Treatment) at Regional Hospital, where he was admitted and put on medication.
At the request of Ubirajara, Dr. Furtado gives more details about his clinical condition. At the CTI of the Regional Hospital, one of the exams was HIV-related, with a negative result. His condition deteriorated rapidly and he died in a few hours, although he was given antibiotics shortly after admission. This intrigued everyone, and he was autopsied. It did not show a urinary infection, but it was confirmed by the urine tests ordered at Bom Pastor. He also suffered from mild pneumonia. "In my opinion," says Dr. Furtado, "the urinary tract infection was the cause of sepsis because the lung infection was so minimal that it could not have caused such a condition."
Chereze's relatives, mainly his sister Antônia, suspected that Chereze's abscess in the left armpit just after the military operation had not been properly treated, which could have caused the infections. But, according to Dr. Furtado, it's impossible because when Chereze was admitted to the hospital, the abscess was almost cured. In addition, this abscess was caused by another bacteria, a staphylococcus, which is normal for a small infection of the skin.
The main point, Dr. Furtado insists, is that the cause of death - the causa mortis - has not been clarified. A few days earlier, the boy was healthy, and at first the infection seemed relatively simple. He had never before had any heavy treatment that could cause an immune deficiency. And that could not be congenital either, because if that had been the case, he would not have reached the age of 23 in good health. This is why we can say that his immunodeficiency has been "acquired", but we do not know how. His death was caused neither by pneumonia, nor by a urinary infection, nor by the abscess.
And Dr. Furtado adds: In the beginning, the diagnosis of a urinary or renal infection prevailed because of the presence of an "enterobacterium". But in less than twenty days, three bacteria attacked the policeman. THREE! It is something very rare in the world. When Marco had a lung infection, he no longer had any immune defense. In such a situation, any bacteria can take control of a person.
Ubirajara: In the hemogram sent by the laboratory of clinical analyzes of the Bom Pastor, it is said in the comments section: "Presence of cytoplasmic vacuoles Presence of fine toxic granules of 8% in the neutrophiles." Discrete polikilocytosis ". How can you, as a physician, interpret the presence of 8% of these fine toxic granules in neutrophils ?
Dr. Furtado: They appear in the neutrophils of a person who is the victim of the aggression of a very virulent bacterium. This causes a combat zone, so call it, which could happen to 50 or 60%. The record mentions 8% because it refers to the first blood test. And this already shows that there is infection, which led us to prescribe two antibiotics.
Ubirajara: In ufology circles, when some investigators read this statement in the results of the blood count, they will interpret that these 8% of toxic granulations were unknown things, the presence of a new substance or something else .
Dr. Furtado: No, none of that, absolutely nothing. As I said before, they do not appear in other infections, but they are common in serious infections.
Ubirajara: During the time that you followed the policeman, did you notice, both at Bom Pastor and Regional, the presence of any unknown doctor from outside?
Dr. Furtado: No, I did not notice. I did not see either Marco Eli Chereze's superiors, either the police or the army. They did not even look for me to get any information about the boy for the next two or three days.
Ubirajara: In the investigation that concludes the death of Marco, there is the testimony of a dermatologist. He mentions a blood infection in which red blood cells have been attacked by white blood cells. This 8% of the blood test, as the dermatologist says, could have denoted a contagion through the skin of a possible toxic substance that would have attacked his red blood cells. What do you think about this?
Dr. Furtado: That has nothing to do. There is no relationship between these elements. The report also says that it could have been a few days before the process materialized, but when it appears, it is dazzling - this is not the truth. On the contrary. If a contagion appeared in this way through the skin, we would be decimated every day.
Ubirajara: Have you managed to see the body ?
Dr. Furtado: No, no, I could not. It's not common. After death, the body is taken for autopsy and there is no other remedy. After the person dies, you tell the family - and in that case, I was not even charged with it, because when they took him to the ITC, I transferred my responsibilities to the other doctor of the CTI.
Ubirajara: Did the family think to ask for the exhumation of the body?
Dr. Furtado: No, not that I know. Because, despite the fact that immunodeficiency has not been proven, it is not an exhumation that would have proved it. The immediate causa mortis was confirmed. Which caused death the moment she intervened. That said, what provoked it was not clarified. On the death certificate, the cause of death does not appear because there was not the slightest element to guarantee anything.
Ubirajara: Without wanting to extrapolate the purpose of this interview, and staying focused on the facts, did you observe any different movement at that time, in any of these hospitals?
Dr. Furtado: I heard a lot of things, but I did not see any particular movement. Rumors were rife throughout the maternity ward of Regional Hospital, but I never worked there because I was not an obstetrician. In addition, the maternity was a little separate, the front door and the rest well away. At Humanitas Hospital, where I also worked at that time, I did not notice anything. Not even comments between doctors, nurses or administrative staff.
Ubirajara then asks if there were isolated areas in these hospitals. Dr. Furtado explains that in the Regional, there was a reserved wing for contagious patients. At Humanitas, there were some movements, and there were many vacant rooms. However, in 1996, there were no more isolation wards, except in specialized hospitals for contagious diseases.
Ubirajara: Do you see anything else interesting to tell us about this episode?
Dr. Furtado: Listen, there is this story reported by the family (about capturing a being) that I do not know and do not know about. If a story has been woven around this event, we do not know it. But if we analyze well how things have gone, we find no rational explanation for the boy's death. Would he have acquired through this contact, or by an injury that he would have had on the skin, something that would have been right of his resistance in a lightning way? Because it has been terribly fast, you understand? I guarantee you that no abscess causes an immunodeficiency. An abscess can be the cause of sepsis, but it does not kill anyone. Moreover, any antibiotic overcomes it. It was not the case. It was not the bacterium entered by the arm that caused the infection.
Ubirajara: Unless it was a totally unknown bacterium, which is unlikely?
Dr. Furtado: Yes. Well, if we are talking about something completely unknown, it is obvious that it would be impossible to risk conjectures. There is no answer possible. Now, would anything have penetrated inside his body, something also unknown, that would have deprived him of his immune system? This is another unanswered question.
Ubirajara: Could you tell us what kind of agent would be likely to cause this, for example?
Dr. Furtado: I do not know. This could be an injectable "poison", an infection in the injured skin, face or foot. This could be an injury caused by a nail, which would cause tetanus, etc. But tetanus, we know. A multitude of things, I might say, and I only say so to list some examples of what might have infected the boy and deprives him of his immune resistance. I repeat that I say that it "COULD BE".
Ubirajara: Are you telling me that Marco Eli Chereze's death was a strange death?
Dr. Furtado: A strange death without rational explanation. During my professional life, I have already seen two people about 25 years old die of an infection, but for both of us we knew about their immune deficiency. And both, if I remember, had the spleen removed (splenectomy) as a result of an accident in the past. After a certain delay, this causes an immunodeficiency. In this situation, the person can die quickly if he is in the conditions of sepsis. But, once again, that was not the case.
Military and aircraft movements described by witnesses :
A lawyer in Varginha and a former soldier, Mr. J.C. (the initials are fake, his real name can not be indicated) witnessed the military movements in the city the same week the girls saw the creature.
"After the creatures saw it, hardly anyone noticed it, but there were there the VASP planes [T .: VASP note: a Brazilian airline company] over Varginha At a very low altitude I also saw the army raking the area, there were a lot of soldiers there, nobody noticed anything. "
J.C. described the planes that flew over the city as two F-5s. He said they were not in normal training, they were in some attack training ...
However, the most important fact he witnessed was the presence of army vehicles near a wood (near where the researchers say that an ET was captured). He was passing by and saw a truck carrying about seven soldiers. He did not know what the intention of these men was: "They were walking around the area, as if they were being beaten, and they were wearing the green camouflaged uniforms." Some of them were in civis clothes and they walked in groups of 2. Other people also saw them, I was not the only one to see them, they disappeared mysteriously, I think they realized what they were observing ".
A few days later, J.C. heard in a bus stop near his house [near Jardim Amelia II, Varginha] some people commenting on the story. These people said that the same day he heard the planes, they heard the sound of three projectiles that appeared to be rifle bullets. A person whom J.C. knows has given more details. According to the lawyer, one of them was motionless, but the other moved, it seemed that there was something alive inside. Shortly after this operation, the trucks disappeared. Some curious people tried to rake the place, but they found nothing. The whole thing happened at about 10:30 in the morning.
A SHORTCUT - but J.C. says it was only the first capture operation. According to his testimony, there was a second, which took place between 1:30 am and 2:30 am the same day. While he was leaving his office early this afternoon, he saw a truck leave the city and stop on the opposite side of an earthworks shortcut.
UFO and extraterrestrial sightings continue in Varginha :
On 21 April 1996, at 9:00 pm, Ms. Therezinha Gallo Clepf (see photo), 67 years old, housewife, saw a strange creature at the restaurant Paiquerê, which is located in the woods of the Zoo and Botanical Garden of Varginha (in Minas Gerais), where she lives. We went to his house to interview him: "I was at a party at the zoo restaurant and I went out to smoke a cigarette on the veranda, and I saw the creature at the veranda parapet, only above the neck. " She said she was sure it was not a zoo animal.
Ms. Therezinha was very frightened, and froze, staying for about five minutes, staring at the creature all this time, without making a single gesture.
GOLDEN HELMET - according to her story, the difference between the creature she saw and the one she saw was the helmet she saw covering the creature's head, which prevented her from seeing the ears and small horns she probably has (based on the description of girls). The rest was similar: the being also had dark brown skin, shiny and oily, a rounded face, red eyes, and no cheeks, no beard, mustache or nose, and, at the location of the lips, it had only a thin slit.
Ms. Therezinha was near the creature, about four meters away, she said. Even today, almost two months after the incident, she is afraid to see the alien again.
A few days after Mrs. Therezinha saw the ET in the zoo, five animals were found dead there, and the zoo biologist, Dr. Leila Cabral, has no explanation for such deaths. An examination of the animals was made and, as a result, it was reported that "... for the male, the reason for death suggests the presence of a toxic caustic substance. Other animals have completely unknown causes of death. " The official medical report just suggests (without confirming) the presence of this type of toxic substance. There is no real reason for the deaths of the other four animals (...).
VARGINHA: CITY VISITED BY UFOs
Varginha is located 300 kilometers from Belo Horizonte, in the southern region of Minas Gerais [Brazil]. It has about 110,000 inhabitants. The city (see photo) is located at a strategic point of ufology activities, where there are constant observations and close encounters of all kinds.
Southern Minas is internationally known as a region prone to extraterrestrial activities. The towns near Varginha, such as São Tomé Letras das, Três Corações, Conselheiro Lafaiete, Pouso Alegre and others, also present innumerable files. In recent months, the number of cases has increased terribly. In virtually every city in this region people see flying saucers. Objects appear publicly, are seen by many witnesses at the same time. In some cases, they were filmed or photographed.
ABSTRACT :
- The most spectacular encounter took place in Brazil at Jardim Andere, a suburb of the city of Varginha. On Saturday, January 20, 1996, Varginha firefighters were called at 8 am, because a mysterious creature was in the park. Firefighters are used to evacuating wild animals from the forests and lost to the suburbs. They went with a cage and stunned a creature as they had never seen before. She was about 1.20m tall, had blood-red eyes, olive skin, three long bumps on her head and made a buzzing sound. Four firefighters caught him with some difficulty, called the army and forbade access to the park. The creature was loaded into a wooden crate and an army truck carried it off.
- That same day, at 3.30 pm, three young girls returning from their work, saw a strange creature against the facade of a house. Believing that they saw the devil, they fled, screaming. In the next few minutes dozens of people gathered in the street and some children threw stones at the creature. Firefighters and the military arrived in their turn to catch the being in a net. These two creatures would have died quickly but there were no details about their remains. Within 24 hours UFO investigators were on site. They interrogated dozens of shocked witnesses (military, doctors, firefighters) and were so impressed that they called for a congress in Curitiba in June, devoted entirely to the incident. (Jan HERTOGHS "Humo" of 24.9.96, 47).
- At 8 o'clock the firemen are called for "a strange animal" located in the park. They go there around 10 am and find a group of children throwing stones at the "animal". Three adults observe the capture of this being by 4 firemen. At 10 h 30 the creature is caught without opposing resistance in a net, put in a box that is covered with a tarpaulin. An ESA van (Exército) picks up this parcel and goes to Três Coraçoes. The fire truck goes back to the Varginha district. At 3.30 pm Liliane, Valquiria and Katia (22, 16 and 14 years old) see Rua Benevenuto Bràs Vieira, near the n ° 76 a strange creature, within 7 m of them. They run away screaming and crying. At 16:10 the mother of Katia and Valquiria goes to the meeting place. There is no more creature but there is a strong, unidentifiable smell in the place. At 18 hours there is a storm of hailstones on Varginha. The electric current is completely disturbed, trees are uprooted. At 8 pm the military police capture the second creature.
- The creature is sent for care to the hospital where it refuses its admission "since it is not human". It will finally be delivered to the Regional Hospital. It follows a coming and going of officials. In the night, around 2 o'clock in the morning, the creature is transferred to the Humanitas University Hospital, under a good military escort. At 9 o'clock on January 22, the dead creature is made available to ESA. She will come to remove it only on the night of January 23, at 4 o'clock and it will be deposited at the military school. The next day (January 24th) Dr. Fortunato Badan Palhares (who identified the funeral remains of Mengele) performs an autopsy on the creature in Campinas. (...) There are 48 witnesses at various stages of events.
Among these the military :
- Sergeant Pedrosa
- Corporal Vassalo
- the soldier De Melo
- Sergeant Cirilo
- Captain Ramires
- Lieutenant Colonel Olimpio Vanderlei
- Commissioner Tibério.

The accident of Varginha Brazil 1996 - Complete file.
