The story of George Adamski.
Venusians would have come to visit him, but for what reason? Why him ?
Posted by UFobuster.
Adamski claims to have been contacted by extraterrestrials: on November 20, 1952, he would have installed his telescope in a place favorable to the passage of flying saucers, in the center of the California desert and would have waited. A mysterious craft would have landed. A human being, 1.70 m, would have approached him, wearing a kind of ski suit, long hair and blond.
George Adamski was born in Poland on April 17, 1891, and emigrated to the USA with his parents when he was 1 1/2 years old. After a wandering life including a military service near the Mexican border, he sits down and becomes a professor of metaphysics and philosophy. In 1936 he founded in California a Royal Order of Tibet, which will remain relatively confidential. In 1944, he went on the slopes of Mount Palomar in California: next to the largest telescope in the world, he spent a lot of time as an amateur astronomer studying the sky with a 6-inch reflector.
Adamski develops a passion for extraterrestrial life and UFOs. In 1946 his mother died. That year, he published a 10-page treatise on the possibility of life on other planets.
First photos :
In 1948 he presents a first UFO photo. In 1949 he released a science-fiction book entitled Pionneers in Space (Journey to the Moon, Mars and Venus), actually written by Lucy McGinnis (available at the Library of Congress, in microfilm form). On May 29, 1950, he recounts seeing squadrons in his telescope:
As I watched the moon with my 6-inch telescope, I noticed several tiny light points rising from the surface of the moon. I had been watching this body for so long over the last twenty years, but I had never seen anything like it. I quickly attached the camera and took this picture. Whether they have been on the moon's surface or parked far from it in space I can not say. All I know is that the natural heavenly bodies do not stop or start and change direction according to their own will. I think that interplanetary travelers could use our satellite as a base from time to time.
At this time Adamski is visited by the Lorenzen who manage the APRO and live then in Los Angeles. They find him very pleasant but do not give him much credibility: Once, he spoke several times of the Moon as a planet, remembers Coral Lorenzen.
In 1951 he presents a series of 4 other photos, which he would have taken on March 5, with his 6-inch telescope. Adamski presents them as saucers coming out of a "mothership": on the first 1 saucer is visible, and on each successive image more saucers left the mothership, up to 6 saucers on the last photo (against above).
(Note: The UFobuster Website does not have these photos - Currently the photos are not available, we will find them !!!).
1st contact :
Self-taught and teaching universal laws at conferences, he is interested in astronomy and more specifically in the UFO phenomenon. He takes several photographs using a telescope of flying saucers. From 1952, he claims to have been contacted by an occupant of one of these machines, which he describes as follows :
"The man looked like any other man, and I noticed that he was relatively smaller than me and considerably younger. [...] So for the first time I really realized that I was in the presence a man of space - a human from another world! The beauty of his appearance was beyond anything I had ever seen, and the appealing aspect of his face will free me from all personal thought. as a little child in the presence of someone with great intelligence and love, and I became very humble about myself ... from him emanated the feeling of an understanding and a infinite kindness, with absolute humility. "
Adamski will meet this "man" several times, who will take him on a tour in his vehicle and deliver messages of peace, saying he is concerned about the nuclear tests in the United States.
On May 13, 1963, Adamski claimed to meet Pope John XXIII three days before his death.
George Adamski rests at the Heroes' Cemetery in Arlington (USA).
Adamski claims to have been contacted by extraterrestrials: on November 20, 1952, he allegedly set up his telescope in a favorable location for flying saucers in the middle of the California desert and waited with six other people :
George Williamson and his wife Betty, an acquaintance named Al Bailey and his wife, Adamski's secretary, Lucy McGiness, and Alice K. Wells, owner of the Palomar Gardens Cafe.
Very quickly, a mysterious machine would have landed. A human being, 1.70 m, would have approached him, wearing a kind of ski suit, long hair and blond.
Adamski says :
When I approached him I felt a strange sensation and I remained on my guard. At that moment I took a look to reassure myself and be sure that we were both visible to my companions. Apparently there was no reason to feel this sensation, the man looked like any other man, and I noticed that he was relatively smaller than me and considerably younger.
Suddenly, as if a veil had been removed from my mind, the feeling of prudence left me so completely that I was no longer aware of the presence of my friends ... At that moment we were really close. He took four steps towards me, bringing us each into the arms of the other.
So for the first time I really realized that I was in the presence of a space man - a human from another world! The beauty of her appearance exceeded anything I had seen. And the appealing aspect of his face will free me from all personal thought. I felt like a little child in the presence of someone with great intelligence and love, and I became very humble about myself ... from him emanated the feeling of an understanding and of infinite kindness, with absolute humility.
He made me understand that they came in peace. Also, as he mimed, they were concerned about radiation from the earth. I asked him if this concern was due to the explosions of our bombs and their vast radioactive clouds? He understood this quickly and nodded affirmatively.Left foot.Right foot.
Fortunately, Adamski and his team have opportunely brought plaster into their car, and they are eager to make a molding footprints of the Venusian Orthon. Note the swastika (swastika) shape on the front of right imprint, not unlike the dark dating Adamski (Dudley Pelley, Ballard, Williamson) of the time.
One of the photos that Adamski would have taken on December 13, 1952 at 9 am Palomar Gardens (California) through a 6-inch telescope.
(Note: The UFobuster Website does not have these photos - Currently the photos are not available, we will find them !!!).
It was only a first meeting. On December 13th in Palomar Gardens (California), Adamski would have made a photo of their saucer, still famous (opposite) :

Photos from November 20, 1952 :
The "Venusian" would have returned and, to please the writer, would have made him make an express trip around the moon, to show him rivers and lakes on the hidden side.
Due to the promise of the visitor to turn over my plate (of photographic film), I remained in a constant state of alert.
(...) I could see him hovering silently in my direction - an iridescent looking device made of glass emitting its bright colors in the morning sun!
I saw the support let go ... my only thought then was to obtain the photographs ... once (the photo) finished, and with the witnesses present, and that an impression was made, there was no more trace the original photo - which I took before the visitor took the support - totally erased; and it was replaced by a strange photograph and a symbolic message ...
Following this first contact with those whom he calls Venusians, Adamski begins to dispense his good word with "Cosmic Philosophy". In 1953, he wrote The flying saucers landed with Desmond Leslie. He recounts his encounters, and quotes excerpts from the book Stances of Dyzan, described as coming from the planet Venus and brought to India, yet deemed extinct:
But life needed an intelligence to embrace the universe. We can not give it to him, said the ancestors. I never had it, says the spirit of the Earth. Man was nothing but an empty and mindless bhuta (...) Thus, Venus sent the greatest of the planet, the "Sanat Kumara", the "Lord of the Flame", who descended on Earth with his 4 grandmasters and 100 assistants.
The book is an instant success, stifling the first critics.
Adamski will thus do a great harm to a serious study of UFOs, many researchers then beginning to doubt a priori testimony. He owes several documents to the authenticity seriously questioned. This is all the more so since the hoaxes and mystifications will follow one another at a pace at least as fast as the authentic UFO appearances. The fight especially Donald Keyhoe who will qualify him as an employee of a hamburger stand while the press gives Adamski the title of "astronomer" because he lives in a house on Mount Palomar where a large telescope is in surgery.
From 1959 to 1960, Adamski will carry his word out of the borders, and is even received by Queen Juliana of Holland in 1959.
Visit to the Pope
Adamski posing next to an illustration of his Venusian emissary.
On May 13, 1963, Adamski met with Pope John 23. In St. Peter's Square in Rome (Italy), Adamski asked his two friends May Morlet and Lou Zinsstag to stay there and wait for him. He then crosses the crowd of tourists and disappears behind a distant door. Some 30 minutes later, he reappears and tells the two women to have seen John 23 who was sick, certainly, but had a rosy complexion, and not olive that people with cancer when they are in agony. He also says he saw the famous Vatican Gardens through the windows of the papal chamber (he will tell the same story to Dr. Perego, while the papal chamber faces St. Peter's Square, opposite the gardens). 3 days later dies John 23. Adamski returned with a "Golden Medal of Honor" from the pope, which would be, according to a Roman numismatist, in fact a souvenir for tourists produced by a Milan company.
Later, Adamski confesses that four scientists from the US government were behind the launch of his career as ambassador of the Brothers of Space. These scientists belonged to the naval electronics laboratory at Point Loma, near San Diego, and to a similar organization in Pasadena. They would have asked him if he would cooperate with a collective attempt to take pictures of strange machines moving in space.
Adamski said of the "foo-fighters" that these fireballs were intended to annihilate the disastrous effects of atomic radiation.
The film of Adamski in 1965.
In 1965, Adamski presents an 8 mm film taken with Madelaine Rodeffer showing a Venusian ship in flight. On April 23, he died of a heart attack in Silver Springs, Maryland. He is buried in Arlington Cemetery. That year, the Adamski Foundation was founded, the declared purpose of which is to promote scientific facts and philosophical thought relevant to understanding that human life is the rule, not the exception, in the universe.
(Note: The UFobuster Site does not have this 8mm film - Currently the 8mm film is not available, we will find it !!!).
