Pyongyang fired on August 16 two "unidentified projectiles" that have been damaged at sea, said the staff of South Korea. This launch is the sixth in three weeks.
The South Korean staff announced that North Korea on the morning of August 16 fired two new "unidentified projectiles". They traveled about 230 km in flight, he said in a statement.
According to Seoul, the projectiles had been fired from near Tongchon, a town in Kangwon Province in southeastern North Korea, and had fallen into the eastern sea, also known as the Sea of Japan.
"The army is watching the situation in case there are other launches," the South Korean staff added.
