North Korea fired new projectiles.

Pyongyang fired on August 16 two "unidentified projectiles" that have been damaged at sea, said the staff of South Korea. This launch is the sixth in three weeks.
The South Korean staff announced that North Korea on the morning of August 16 fired two new "unidentified projectiles". They traveled about 230 km in flight, he said in a statement.
According to Seoul, the projectiles had been fired from near Tongchon, a town in Kangwon Province in south-eastern North Korea, and had fallen into the eastern sea, also known as the Sea of Japan.
"The army is watching the situation in case there are other launches," the South Korean staff added.
This is the sixth test conducted by Pyongyang since July 25, said AFP. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said in early August that the shooting was "a solemn warning" to North Korea and the United States because of joint military maneuvers by the two countries.
Pyongyang disapproves of these regular joint exercises. The North Korean authorities regard them as hostile maneuvers prefiguring an invasion of North Korea. He warned that the start of these announced maneuvers would prevent the resumption of talks between Pyongyang and Washington on the North Korean nuclear arsenal.
