The shooting carried out (Friday, August 16, 2019) by North Korea which was the test of a "new weapon", was supervised by Kim Jong-un, announced the official KCNA news agency yesterday.
This shooting, the sixth in three weeks, is likely to complicate the efforts of the US special envoy for North Korea, Stephen Biegun, who will visit Japan and South Korea next week to discuss the denuclearization of North.
Military officials in Seoul said the vehicles launched on Friday were apparently two short-range ballistic missiles, which have traveled a distance of about 230 km before falling into the sea.
